SHAWN MCNULTY-KOWAL

Born and raised in New Jersey, I'm hopeful for a change of scenery. Writing stories that exhume the ordinarily intimate are the stories I like to write. The most freeing thing that anyone has ever said to me was, "You found your voice." I graduated from Emerson College in Boston with a degree in the fine arts. As an undergraduate, I focused mostly on Creative Nonfiction. I find it difficult to stray away from the genre, but I'm also happily reluctant to do so.
